Lindsey Clark McKinnon b. 1983 in Tampa, Florida, graduated from the University of North Florida in 2006 with a degree in Painting and Drawing, and Art Education(k-12). McKinnon began developing her professional art career in a variety of eclectic settings that range from creating large fiberglass installations and murals to painting instruction and portrait photography. Recently, McKinnon was commissioned by the Casa de Solana in St. Augustine, FL to design and hand-paint the wooden signs at the entrances of the Bed and Breakfast on historical Aviles Street. She also illustrated a poster for the Edible Evening fundraiser in New Orleans, Louisiana, and can be found building original pieces of wood furniture- an art form perfected by her great-great grandfather Samuel Harris Clark during the turn of the century.
